Farm & Fiber Mill Tours
Come get up close and personal with our alpacas while you learn all about them - where they come from, what we do with them, how we care for them, and lots more! Leave the hustle, bustle, stress and hectic lifestyle for a few hours to relax and enjoy these amazing animals. From the moment you walk into the fields with them, you will feel a calming sensation often times called "Alpaca Magic". Alpacas are very gentle and extremely inquisitive creatures. They love meeting you just as much as you will love meeting them. And when we say meet, we don't mean over a fence line. We take you right into the fields so you can actually interact with the Alpacas. Our tour guides are very knowledgeable and experienced individuals who will ensure you have an amazing hands-on learning experience. We offer the following two tour types: Alpaca Farm & Fiber Mill Experience This tour is designed for individuals, familes and small groups. Meet our friendly alpacas, learn about their care and personalities, then visit our working fiber mill to see how raw fiber is transformed into beautiful yarns, rovings, batts and rug yarns. This guided tour offers a fascinating look at the entire fiber process while the mill remains in operation. Tour time is approximately 1 1/2 hours. Adults - $15.00 each (ages 13 and up) Children - $10.00 each (ages 3 to 12) Infants and Toddlers - Free Private Behind-the-Scenes Farm & Fiber Mill Experience This tour is designed specifically for motorcoach groups, schools, senior groups, clubs, and other organizations of 20 or more guests. Your experience begins with a guided visit to meet our friendly alpacas, where you'll learn about their unique personalities, care, and luxurious fiber. Then, we'll head to our working fiber mill, where we temporarily stop the machinery so your group can safely walk through the equipment and enjoy an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at every step of the fiber-making process—from raw fleece to beautiful finished yarn. Along the way, you'll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and gain a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship behind every skein. This exclusive experience is only available for larger pre-scheduled groups with a 20 person minimum and includes:
