The Alpaca Heavyweight Boot Socks are the thickest, warmest socks we carry. They are super soft and oh so comfy. Once you wear alpaca socks, you'll never want to wear any other socks. Alpaca is a rare specialty fiber. It is one of the softest fibers in the world, it is hypoallergenic, and much warmer than wool. Alpaca is a hollow core fiber so it traps a lot more air than wool (which is a semi-hollow core fiber). This gives the alpaca a much higher insulation value making warm and toasty even on the coldest days. Give your feet a little loving!
